As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 3,437,〔〔〔 reflecting an increase of 577 (+20.2%) from the 2,860 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 97 (+3.5%) from the 2,763 counted in the 1990 Census.〔(Table 7. It was along this border, through the Paulinskill Valley, that the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway operated from 1872 until 1962, taking agricultural products to New York City.
